Adult Ministries
As adults, it is important that we continue our spiritual journey, growing and maturing. We were created for community. Adult Ministry groups help you find connection and community in more personal and meaningful ways. Fun and fellowship are always a part of any of our adult gatherings. There is usually food present, from snacks to special dishes prepared by someone in the group. There is also extra fuel for your spiritual journey as well. Through studies, videos, lively discussions, or moments of quiet prayer and meditation, deepen your faith, find your special place in the work of the church, connect more deeply with God, or just get that extra boost of faith you need to get through the week. Adult ministries provide the pathway to becoming a truly “united” member of First Methodist Midland.
Sunday School
We offer a strong Adult Sunday School program with classes for every age, stage, and learning preference. Our classes are welcoming and nurturing, designed to encourage your faith journey. Feel free to visit one or multiple classes until you find the perfect fit for you.
Women of First
The Women of First is comprised of ALL women of First United Methodist Church of Midland. We are here to build relationships and help women grow closer to Christ as we journey together to seek the Lord’s will in our lives. Our mission statement is:
Growing women to be witnesses to others in our ever-changing world. Equipping them with tools of how to grow disciples in Christ and to love one another.
